[FILM-Users 00423] Phase Focus demo
Dear microscopists, see below the invitation to a demonstration of a new microscope technology, Ptychography, by Joanne Whetstone from the company Phasefocus. It's label free and three-dimensional, so potentially interesting to a range of users. Good imaging, Martin -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: Phase Focus demo Date: Mon, 28 Oct 2013 14:44:54 +0000 From: Joanne Whetstone <joanne.whetstone@phasefocus.com> *==> PDF version of this invitation*: <https://workspace.imperial.ac.uk/imagingfacility/Public/seminar.pdf> Phasefocus would like to invite you to a presentation on Monday 11th November at 12pm, and a demonstration of their high contrast label-free live cell imaging system on Tuesday 12th or Wednesday 13th November 2013. The Phasefocus Virtual Lens® uses a technique known as Ptychography, allowing phase imaging of cells in high contrast, without using labels, and free of artefacts. This method adds a further quantitative dimension to phase imaging, and is able to provide numerical information on cell cycle analysis, cell thickness, and cell volume, which has traditionally been measured using fluorescence. The system also uses low laser power allowing long term timelapse experiments to be performed. PRESENTATION Monday 11th November 12:00 Room SAFB-121, South Kensington Campus, Exhibition Road, London SW7 2AZ Refreshments will be provided DEMONSTRATION Room SAFB-530, South Kensington Campus, Exhibition Road, London SW7 2AZ We want you all to have the opportunity to see the system and ask questions, the easiest way to do this is to allocate timeslots for you to sign up for.
