[FILM-Users 01131] Invitation to Zeiss Lattice Lightsheet 7 Demonstration
Dear Colleagues, We are excited to extend an invitation to you for an upcoming demonstration<https://www.imperial.ac.uk/events/169247/discovering-the-subcellular-dynamics-of-life/> of the new Zeiss Lattice Lightsheet 7. This event promises to offer valuable insights into the latest advancements in live cell imaging technology. The demonstration is scheduled for December 4-8, 2023, and will be held in room 527 of the Sir Alexander Fleming Building. This event is coordinated by Wesley Washington<https://www.linkedin.com/in/wesley-washington-9bb83896/>, Zeiss Account Manager, in collaboration with the FILM staff. Here's a brief abstract of what the demonstration will cover: Live imaging is crucial for biological research, offering insights that are among the most significant in the field. The challenges of achieving the necessary resolution in four dimensions at the speed required, while preserving cell physiology, are substantial. The ZEISS Lattice Lightsheet 7, a technology innovated by Nobel laureate Eric Betzig, is designed to overcome these challenges. It provides exceptionally gentle imaging and rapid acquisition speeds of up to three volumes per second. This expands the possibilities of live cell imaging considerably, from observing fast interactions of organelles in 3D to conducting extended time-lapses of photosensitive samples or processes. During the demonstration, we will delve into the technology and showcase the range of applications it enables.
