Imperial core flow cytometry facility staff are pleased to offer this 
intensive, two day educational course in the varied techniques using 
flow cytometry.

The course will initially cover basic flow cytometry but then rapidly 
move on to the more advanced applications providing you with vital 
information on important cutting-edge topics in spectral overlap and 
compensation issues in flow cytometry, staining and sample prep, 
calibration issues, as well as covering Imagestream technology and its 
applications, as well covering various multi-plexing techniques.

These will also include cell cycle, apoptosis, cell proliferation, and 
fluorescent proteins and FRET and covering topics such as looking for 
immune patterns in MS.

The course has been designed to allow the participant to gain experience 
of what a flow cytometer is capable of as well as to raise awareness of 
the problems that can be encountered when setting up polychromatic panels.

No prior knowledge of flow cytometry is assumed. This course will give 
you a firm grounding in the basics of flow cytometry, as well as delving 
into the complicated issues researchers can often face.

Registration closes on the 18th as I then have to give catering numbers 
etc.

Thurka, preparing my talk I've just notice I only have a very 
preliminary programme - do you have a final version?

I don't think I will be able to submit my talk yet, too many other 
things are more urgent at the moment. I'll try to do it as soon as 
possible, but I very much doubt many participants will look at it so 
early anyway.

finalise the title of your intended talk (if not done so already).
In late August/early September I am hoping all Speakers will be able 
to provide a copy of their proposed talk; I am aiming to have 
booklets printed to be ready for the second week of September. This 
has arisen due to comments received from previous courses 
of delegates requesting printouts of presentations to be used as 
reference material during the talks.
I would be happy for speakers to obviously omit anything they do not 
wish to be printed and I acknowledge that talks are even amended at 
the last hour, so having the backbone of the slides to be presented, 
would be very helpful and very much appreciated.
