Hello FILM users, Imperial Innovations is running a scientific images contest<http://www.imperialinnovations.co.uk/technology-transfer/art-research-scientific-images-competition/> open to all staff and students with some great prizes on offer (including an iPad Mini 2). We are looking for scientific images including photographs, micrographs, illustrations (e.g. images of cells, materials, organisms). The contest has been launched to promote the new Quicktech<inno.im/quicktechinfo> service, a new online platform for straightforward commercialisation of research tools and materials (including images!). Shortlisted images will be displayed in an exhibition to be held at Imperial College London. Shortlisted images will also be entered into a further people's choice competition where members of the public can vote for their favourite images.
