This role is initially offered on a 1-year contract and focuses on the development and enhancement of high-throughput and multiplex imaging technologies. Key responsibilities include providing support and training in light microscopy and contributing to the operational and strategic development of the FILM facility. The position is based in the ICTEM building, which houses our state-of-the-art Leica CellDive imaging system<https://www.leica-microsystems.com/products/light-microscopes/p/cell-dive/> equipped with an advanced robotic platform<https://www.advancedsolutions.com/bioassemblybot-200>: [cid:75474df2-2b4c-4957-aecd-d98813a8a02a] This system, established through the efforts of Ana Ferreira da Silva<https://www.imperial.ac.uk/medicine/facility-for-imaging-by-light-microscopy/people/> and funded by a multiplex imaging grant led by Cristina Lo Celso<https://www.imperial.ac.uk/lo-celso-lab/> , has a fully operational workflow. Currently, over 16 scientific groups are actively interested in utilizing this instrument. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can drive forward innovations in multiplex imaging and high-throughput tissue and cellular imaging in a collaborative and supportive environment. The role involves close collaboration with biologists, microscopists, and Leica UK team.
