[FILM-Users 00064] health & safety update
Dear microscopists, we are in the process of reviewing the Health & Safety regulations in FILM, to make sure they are in the best interest of our users while complying with all relevant regulations. With regard to the first point, could you please let me know if you have any concern about health & safety-related issues in the facility? One important consideration (as in all labs) are allergies. To be aware and avoid problems early on, could all of you existing users please let me know of any known allergies that could possibly be relevant to work in the microscope rooms? Anything like immersion oils, mounting media, fixatives, animals, plants, stainings, ...? Thanks in advance for your cooperation, good imaging, Martin ======================================== Martin Spitaler, PhD FILM - Facility for Imaging by Light Microscopy - Facility Manager - Sir Alexander Fleming Building, desk 401 Imperial College London / South Kensington Exhibition Road London SW7 2AZ UK Tel. +44-(0)20-759-42023 E-mail m.spitaler@imperial.ac.uk Website: http://imperial.ac.uk/imagingfacility
