[FILM-Users 00815] Samples left on CF6 and oil on 10X
Dear Users and CF6 Users in particular, I found two slides left on CF6, one next to the keyboard, and one with liquid left on the stage of the microscope itself, see attached pictures. Please make sure you take all your samples with you when you finish your session. If you need to discard your slides, there is a sharps bin in the room. I also saw some damage to the 10X objective, probably caused when inserting the sample holder in the stage. Please be careful not to hit the objective when putting on the stage insert. Finally, the 10X objective was covered in immersion oil. Please only use oil on immersion objectives, and if you add some onto an air objective by mistake, let us know straight away so we can clean it. If you are not sure, please ask us! Thank you for your co-operation, All the best, David David Gaboriau, PhD FILM - Facility for Imaging by Light Microscopy High-Content Microscopy Specialist Sir Alexander Fleming Building, desk 408 Imperial College London / South Kensington Exhibition Road London SW7 2AZ, UK Phone: +44 (0)2075 949 793 Email: d.gaboriau@imperial.ac.uk<mailto:d.gaboriau@imperial.ac.uk> Website: http://imperial.ac.uk/imagingfacility Page: http://www.imperial.ac.uk/people/d.gaboriau
