Dear microscopists, in this Friday's FILM Club we will try something new: Some kind of technical mini-workshop on sample preparation and fixed versus live imaging. This will be based on the following recent publication, which I will summarise in the FILM Club: Immunolabeling artifacts and the need for live-cell imaging U Schnell, F Dijk, KA Sjollema & BNG Giepmans Nature Methods 9,152–158(2012) <http://www.nature.com/nmeth/journal/v9/n2/full/nmeth.1855.html> The FILM Club will be held this Friday 24 Feb 2012 at 1pm in SAFB-120 (Fleming Building, South Kensington) See you there, good imaging, Martin -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Martin Spitaler, PhD* *FILM - Facility for Imaging by Light Microscopy* - Facility Manager - Sir Alexander Fleming Building, desk 401 Imperial College London / South Kensington Exhibition Road London SW7 2AZ UK Tel. +44-(0)20-759-42023 E-mail m.spitaler@imperial.ac.uk <mailto:m.spitaler@imperial.ac.uk> Website: http://imperial.ac.uk/imagingfacility
