[FILM-Users 00078] Fwd: Euro-BioImaging: 1st Newsletter
Dear microscopists, I'm forwarding the information below regarding the EuroBioimaging initiative (in which we are participating). Most likely Eurobioimaging will in the future help your microscopy research in the way of training, facility access, data management and analysis, lobbying for funding and generally promoting bioimaging (see the website for more details), so you might be interested to stay up to date through this newsletter. By the way, the local initiative, BioImagingUK (http://www.bioimaginguk.org) is also taking shape, the dedicated Working Groups have already produced very interesting documents how bioimaging should be organised, supported and funded, which are going to be presented to the funding bodies (research councils and Wellcome Trust) soon. We also have a mailing list there (see bottom of the homepage) to keep you up to date.
