[FILM-Users 00787] THE ART OF RESEARCH 2018
Dear Postdocs & Students, THE ART OF RESEARCH 2018 The Art of research is back once again and seeking images that demonstrate the breadth and depth of scientific research taking place at Imperial College London! We're looking for photographs, illustrations, infographics, and whatever else you have up your sleeve that tells the story of your work. Whether it's a micrograph of some cells, a drawing of a drone, or an illustration of fluid dynamics, we're looking for original and creative images that celebrate science at its best. This year we're working with the Imperial Festival to hold the final exhibition at the Festival itself! This means that shortlisted entries will be displayed at the outreach event on the 28th and 29th of April to the visiting crowds. In 2017 more than 15,000 public and alumni visitors descended on Imperial's South Kensington campus. That's 15,000 people admiring your art! http://inno.im/artofresearch You can win amazing prizes! This year there will be two categories: the Judges' Choice and the People's Choice. Judges' Choice * An Apple iPad * A Destek V4 smartphone VR Headset * 3D Stereoscopic Lens adaptor for smartphones People's Choice * A Destek V4 smartphone VR Headset * 3D Stereoscopic Lens adaptor for smartphones Entrants whose submission is shortlisted for the final exhibition will also receive a print of their work, so remember: send us the highest resolution you have so your pièce de résistance can look its best! The contest is open to all staff and students at Imperial and will run until the 23th of March.
