Cette approche, permettant de *visualiser les cellules immunes* dans leur *environnement naturel*,a permis de faire des progrès très importants; de mettre en évidence des *comportements cellulaires totalement ignorés* jusque là. Citons notamment l’incroyable mobilité des lymphocytes T observée dans les ganglions lymphatiques de souris. Pour commémorer cet anniversaire, nous avons voulu faire le point sur l’avancement des recherches dans le domaine, en nous concentrant plus particulièrement sur le *comportement des cellules immunes dans les tumeurs et les tissus enflammés* (chez l'homme et la souris). Le *23 Novembre 2012*, nous aurons le privilège d’écouter plusieurs spécialistes français, européens et américains qui viendront à l'Institut exposer leurs résultats.
