| A Biochemical Society Hot Topic Meeting in Partnership with the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences
Research Council Advances in microscopy have seen the advent of super resolution imaging, mapping single molecules down to <8 nm resolution compared with conventional light microscopy
that achieves only ~250 nm. This Hot Topic Event will provide an interdisciplinary forum covering new technological developments, wider-scale applications, and potential commercialization of super resolution imaging. Topics
§
Single molecule studies at the plasma membrane
§
Super resolution imaging in 3D
§
‘Working small’
in vivo
§
Future directions and applications of super-resolution imaging Proceedings (invited speakers) will be published in
Biochemical Society Transactions. Abstract deadline: 8 September 2014 Earlybird registration deadline: 10 October 2014  Online registration is now available BBSRC Bursary application deadline: 20 October 2014 Applications for the BBSRC bursary can be made during registration. Dear Steve,
I hope you are keeping well. Kim may have mentioned this to you already but we are organising a one day meeting with the Biochemical Society on Super-resolution
imaging in November. Abstract deadline is in September and would like to ask if you can forward the attached flyer to all FILM users and if possible advertise on the FILM site? We are able to give some bursaries to students and postdocs regardless of whether
they submit an abstract to attend.
Best wishes,
Aylin
