I am pleased to inform you that on Thursday, 23rd May, Leica will host the first in a series of application-based workshops at the Leica Imaging Hub, located in Bessemer Building B118, South Kensington.

TauSense provides dynamic access to Fluorescence Lifetime 'Functional Imaging' information in real time and in parallel with fluorescence intensity images. Utilize lifetime-based information to explore molecular functions within a cellular context, enhance image quality, and distinguish fluorescent species beyond spectral methods.

1. Differentiate between desired and unwanted fluorescence signals, e.g., remove Autofluorescence or reflected light (TauGating, GateScan).
2. Separate fluorophores using lifetime-based information, e.g., visualize more fluorophores, eliminate cross-excitation (TauSeparation, TauScan).
3. Highlight regions of FRET activity or mean lifetime changes (Functional Imaging, Bio Sensors).
4. Directly visualize distinct structures based on lifetime differences (TauContrast), e.g., 1 detector imaging 2 or 3 lifetime-based channels – Multiplexing, Spatial Biology.
