Dear Dr. Bruckbauer,

I hope this finds you well.
I am reaching out as Head of the Research Centre for Neurogenomics at Human Technopole, Italy’s new flagship research institute in the life sciences. We are currently setting up a cutting-edge Light Imaging Facility
as a strategic core catering to the whole institute and playing an enabling role for its transformative pursuit of mechanistic human biology in health and disease.
I would be therefore most grateful if you could kindly help us disseminate the ad for Head of Light Imaging Facility that I am attaching (link below to the posting on our institutional website) as well as target it
directly to outstanding potential candidates. The Light Imaging Facility will develop in close integration with the other foundational technological cores: The Automated Stem Cell and Organoid, Image Analysis, Cryo- electron microscopy, Genomics and Animal
 Research facilities.
The primary vocation of the facility will be to support the phenotypic analysis of experimental models and primary samples, with a strong albeit non-exclusive focus on human studies and a whole Centre focused on brain
disorders through an unparalleled integration of large scale in vitro and in vivo experimental models. The facility will rely on a particularly advanced integrated high-performance computing (HPC) service linking experimental setup, image analysis, and computational
 analysis.
This is a truly unique opportunity in Italy and an outstanding one worldwide, so we are looking for passionate candidates who combine excellent scientific knowledge along with the depth of technical and managerial
skills to be able to set up the facility from scratch and operate it fluently .
Thanks again for your help in the matter, and please do not hesitate to contact me for any other information you might consider relevant.
Best wishes,

Giuseppe Testa
