Dear FILM users,

After speaking to our Health and Safety advisor we have made some changes to our COVID-19 rules for the FILM facility.

As it is now believed that virus transmission through contact with surfaces is less of a problem, we will remove the cling-film from keyboards and eye-pieces. We keep the 70% ethanol so that you can still clean the surfaces you touch.
We will remove the 30 min break between the sessions as we believe that our rooms are well ventilated.

We keep the occupancy limit, general 1 m distancing and the requirement to wear face coverings to be on the safe side.

The new rules are attached and will be presented when you book a microscope on PPMS.
