Dear all,

There will be 2 events of interest for the imaging community and students in january 2017 in Sheffield:

1) "Imagine - Imaging Life launch symposium" on 12-13th of january with a great line-up of speakers on the topic of combining different cutting-edge imaging technologies (super-resolution fluorescence microscopy, electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy...) to address important biological and biomedical problems.
see attached flyer

2) ahead of the symposium, on the 11th of january, there is going to be a STORM workshop: https://sheffieldstorm.wordpress.com/
this workshop will focus on more practical aspects of STORM imaging (sample prep, buffers, analysis, etc) and users are encouraged to bring their images and questions.
Even I was tempted out of mat-leave for a day to attend and give a talk :-)
See attached flyer too - questions to: c.walther@sheffield.ac.uk

Both events would be of interest to FILM-users and the wider london super-res crew!

Cheers from the snowy/sleety Sheffield
