Dear users,
This WE it is the turn of the FILM microscopy rooms on the
4th floor to be shut down for the statutory electrical testing.
As a consequence, ALL microscopes in rooms 408/409 will be plugged off during the WE and will not be accessible.
The microscopes affected will be: CF3, CF4, CF5, WF1 and WF2.
In addition, we will have the annual PAT testing on Monday morning, from 9-11, after which, you can image as before (hopefully).
CF2 and the Elyra SR1 are not affected by the electrical testing this WE – but will be PAT-tested on Monday as well.
Note: CF4 has now its newly upgraded multiphoton connected to it, and it is working fine and independently of CF3.
The Multiphoton on CF3 is not functional as we are having some stability issues. This often happens with brand new lasers, and spectraphysics engineers will come next week to check it out.
Cheers
Debbi
