email to your contacts? We would like to see
                          us advertised everywhere but specially
interested in getting it in more art/design

journal from Australia that is writing about
                          us!!!).

We
would like to invite you to join us at an exhibition
                              exploring the relationship between Science
                              and Art.
26th
                              June - 2nd July, 1- 6 pm
The
                            Brick Lane Gallery (Annexe)
                          196 Brick Lane, E1 6SA London
Is
there beauty in raw scientific data?
A
                            group of Imperial College scientists
think so – and have collaborated
with
artists in an experiment to translate
and communicate this beauty to an audience
                            of art-goers.
The
relationship between the raw data and
                            artistic interpretation varies across a
spectrum from literal and direct engagement
                            to highly abstract,
evocative
works that bear only the echo of scientific
                            inspiration.
The
                            scientific data on display encompasses
photography of world invisible to the naked
                            eye and the graphs,
charts
and records that are part and parcel of
                            scientific practice.  The artworks range
across
                            media, encompassing film, photography,
                            painting and design.
