Dear All,

Can you please help us distributing the below email to your contacts? We would like to see us advertised everywhere but specially interested in getting it in more art/design media and from any country (we already have a journal from Australia that is writing about us!!!).

Any help with this will be very much appreciated.

Many thanks for your help and we hope you will all enjoy the exhibition.

Kind regards,

Marta Archanco

Is there beauty in raw scientific data?

A group of Imperial College scientists think so – and have collaborated

with artists in an experiment to translate and communicate this beauty to an audience of art-goers.

The relationship between the raw data and artistic interpretation varies across a spectrum from literal and direct engagement to highly abstract,

evocative works that bear only the echo of scientific inspiration.

The scientific data on display encompasses photography of world invisible to the naked eye and the graphs,

charts and records that are part and parcel of scientific practice.  The artworks range

across media, encompassing film, photography, painting and design.
