Subject: FoNS safety seminar - 'Safe use of lasers in research' 13th November

Dear all,

As discussed with Ian previously we have arranged for two academics to give talks on safe use of lasers in research to help with our current plan on raising awareness of health and safety around lasers and the application of engineering controls in the Faculty.

Attached is the poster associated with the event.  If you can attend that will be great.  Steve / Helga if you want to advertise this to relevant laser users in your Faculties please feel free to do so.

We do ask that anyone attending register so we can advise catering on numbers for the lunch beforehand.  To register follow the link:

 http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/physics/safety/laserworkshop   (or on the poster).

Many thanks

Stef
