Dear microscopists,

first of all, thanks to those who have come along to test the Zeiss widefield system, it was actually very interesting. Please could everybody involved send me some feedback on their experience, to add to the summary? Again, everything is helpful, sensitivity, speed, functionality, usability, how helpful the Zeiss people were etc.

And an update on the Leica demo installations (SAFB-530, South Kensington):

The LEICA WIDEFIELD system is going to be available Tue 1 - Thu 3 November 2011. It will again come with incubation chamber, motorised stage, sensitive camera, LED illumination for fast switching.

The LEICA CONFOCAL SP5 will be available for testing Tue 8 - Thu 10 November 2011. This system will have a resonant scanner for fast scanning, high-sensitivity hybrid detectors (HyD), plus the usual motorised stage, incubation chamber etc.

Please book your testing slot by replying to this email soon - they usually fill up quickly.

See you there, good imaging,

Martin
