Dear users,

The Easter college closure period runs from Thursday 6th April until Wednesday 12th April inclusive: https://www.imperial.ac.uk/human-resources/leave/college-closures/

FILM will be closed too, so you must have the appropriate permissions in place if you want to access the microscopes.

If you come, please make sure to clean objectives and turn off the microscopes at the end of your session, even if someone is booked after you, to ensure systems are not left on for the week in case someone cancels at the last minute.

In addition to normal lone worker access permissions (needed for weekend or evening access) you will also need College closure day access permission.

If you don’t have this in place already you need to fill in the attached form and send to Sue Francis s.francis@imperial.ac.uk by Tuesday 4th April to ensure it can be processed before the Easter break.

Please ensure you fill in the forms correctly including clear reasons why you need access and when (forms that say “I need to work outside normal working hours” or “I work late into the evenings” or “I need access due to option 3” will not be processed).

All the best,

David
