Dear microscopists,

on initiative of Thomas Hopkins (Sarah Blagden lab), we have a trial licence for DEFINIENS TISSUE STUDIO available for a few weeks on the Definiens licence server. This is a tool specifically designed to make analysis of histology samples easier, so could be interesting to many people working with clinical samples.

You are all very welcome to test the trial licence. If you haven't used Definiens yet, please get in touch for a quick introduction and access.

If it works well and is useful to various people, the idea would be to join forces and look for funding through grant application.

And just a general note, we have already used Definiens very successfully in the past to analyse a large range of samples, including various tissue stainings, if you have a challenging image analysis task, please get in touch with the FILM crew.

Good imaging,

Martin
