Thanks, Lucy -- Sent on behalf of Imperial Innovations: Dear all, Imperial Innovations has launched a scientific images contest open to all staff and students at Imperial College London with some great prizes on offer (including an iPad Mini 2). The goal of the contest is to find images from across the College that celebrate science and the process of scientific research. We're looking for photographs, illustrations or infographics that tell the story of your work - whether it's an image of cells, a photograph of a robot or a visual representation of fluid dynamics we're seeking original, innovative and creative images that celebrate science. The contest has been launched to promote the new Quicktech<quicktech.imperialinnovations.co.uk> service, a new online platform for straightforward commercialisation of research tools and materials (including images!). The contest will run until 31st January 2016 and the best images will be judged by a panel of science communicators and artists. All shortlisted images will be displayed in an exhibition in the Business School Entrance of Imperial College London, running from 16th - 19th of February 2016. Shortlisted images will also be entered into a further people's choice competition where members of the public can vote for their favourite images. Winners will be announced at the end of the exhibition.
