There will be a heating shutdown in the SAF building tomorrow, this might also affect air-conditioning in the microscope rooms, please see below. If the temperature exceeds 25 degrees (due to no air conditioning) we might need to stop the
 microscopes.

Subject: SAFB heating shutdown tomorrow
Dear All,
An isolation valve in the SAFB hot water system has failed and needs to be replaced. There will be a shutdown starting tomorrow morning.
Start: 10:00 on Tuesday 18 September
End: 10:00 on Wednesday 19 September
Services affected: All heating in SAFB, including AHUs (temperature and humidity) and FCUs, 37C CT rooms, hot water from taps
Services not affected: Cooling in AHUs and FCUs, electric heating
The timing of this shutdown has been chosen to minimise impact on teaching, research and meetings. I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
