Dear Colleagues and Users,
I would like to inform you that the CF3 microscope, which has served us well for 19 years, will be retired effective January 6, 2025. Unfortunately, Leica has been unable to provide support for this instrument for several years, and its age has made continued operation increasingly challenging.
In addition to CF3, the CF4 and SR1 microscopes will also be retired in 2025 due to similar considerations. These decisions were influenced by several factors, including a shortage of staff, an increase in staff workload, and ongoing difficulties in recruiting new personnel to manage and maintain these systems.
We understand that this may impact some ongoing or planned projects, and we are committed to assisting you in navigating this transition. Please feel free to reach out to discuss alternative options or support for your microscopy needs.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me or a member of our team.

Best regards,
Volodymyr
