We are happy to invite you to the 2015 FILM Microscopy Day

The morning session you will be able to remember the "basics" with presentations from Martin Spitaler (former-FILM manager) on fluorophores and how they work, and the basics of microscopy by Nicolas Olivier (KCL) before moving on to super-resolution microscopy (Debbi, FILM).

We will again host our famous "Microscopy Match Maker" where users can present snapshots of their research and, who knows, discover new avenues for collaboration within or outside Imperial! Register for your Match-maker spot!

The afternoon will focus on more advanced technique, in particular high-content imaging and analysis with presentations from Nick Barry (MRC-LMB, Cambridge) and Chris Dunsby (Imperial) on high-content FLIM.

Finally, we are delighted to host Willy Supatto from Ecole Polytechnique Paris as our plenary speaker who will present his work on two-photon lightsheet imaging and its applications to neurosciences and developmental biology.

The plenary lecture will be followed by drinks.

We ask those who plan to attend the entire event to register before 15/06 for catering purposes - if you only plan to attend the afternoon, let register as "afternoon only".
We encourage staff and students to register for the match-maker - it is always fun!

We hope you can make it.

Cheers,
Facility for Imaging by Light Microscopy (FILM) Imperial College London
