Dear microscopists, first some information, during the College closure (from Friday until Mon 2 January) the FILM crew will also be on holiday (I'm actually already leaving tomorrow). You can still use the microscopes, but make sure you book any unusual hardware configuration in advance, and obviously we won't be around if anything goes wrong. From Tue 2 January 2012 we'll all be back as usual. That leaves me to say - on behalf of the whole FILM crew - thanks for the good collaboration. It was again a year full of interesting science, beautiful images, new challenges, but most importantly many good times sharing with you exciting new insights into some of the most weird and wonderful aspects of life. Have a happy and peaceful Christmas - or whatever you call this celebration of light and life in the middle of winter - and a good start into the new year, with more good imaging, Martin -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Martin Spitaler, PhD* *FILM - Facility for Imaging by Light Microscopy* - Facility Manager - Sir Alexander Fleming Building, desk 401 Imperial College London / South Kensington Exhibition Road London SW7 2AZ UK Tel. +44-(0)20-759-42023 E-mail m.spitaler@imperial.ac.uk <mailto:m.spitaler@imperial.ac.uk> Website: http://imperial.ac.uk/imagingfacility
