...forwarded for your information, some quite spectacular movies of B cell killing, all done on our FILM Confocal 2, while Dan Davis was still here at Imperial College.

Congratulations, Dominika and Dan,

Martin

Hi everyone,

I’m running my live-cell imaging workshop again this June (poster attached). I would be very grateful if you could bring it to the attention of anyone you think might be interested:

Live-Cell Imaging

University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK

Organised by Dr Paul Thomas (University of East Anglia)

This three-day workshop provides theoretical and practical guidance on imaging live cells and tissues. Focusing on the use of fluorescence microscopy, the course is designed for beginners. Training includes lectures and hands-on experience of both short- and long-term observations using widefield, confocal, and multi-photon microscopy. The final day includes demonstrations of image analysis for object identification, quantification, tracking, and fluorescence lifetimes. Space is limited to 12 trainees.

The workshop will be held from Tues, June 11th to Thurs, June 13th 2013 in the Henry Wellcome Laboratory for Cell Imaging, School of Biological Sciences. Applications should be submitted using the Physiological Society web-page (http://www.physoc.org/live-cell-imaging-11-13-june-2013-tbc) by 31st May 2013. (Members wanting to apply for travel grants should apply before 30th April 2013.)

Many thanks,

Paul.
