We need to clean up scratch again so data from before 1^st December 2016 will be deleted later this week

It has also been noticed that some users are using the scratch drive a s a backup for their own pc’s – whether temporarily or as a more permanent solution

This is not the purpose of the scratch drive – please do not do this

You are reminded that scratch is for transferring files only – not as a backup or long term storage
