The scratch2 server is online again, sorry for the disruption this morning. Please make sure that you always copy your data from the server to a secure space, scratch2 is only for temporal data storage.

Dear all,
Our data server scratch2 is currently not accessible, ICT is working on the problem, I will let you know once I have more information. You can use our old scratch server in the meantime:
Connecting to the old scratch server from PC:
open 'My computer'
in the menu, select 'tools > map network drives'
select a free drive letter (e.g. "X:")
for folder location use "\\film-nas.med.ic.ac.uk\scratch"
tick the box 'Reconnect at logon' and click 'OK'
type in your username and password (use 'ic\username' instead of just your username on microscope computers)
