Dear microscopists,

some of you might have wondered what happened to this month's FILM Club (though most probably won't have noticed, in this busy time of the year). Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances it had to be postponed by a week - so it will happen NEXT WEEK:

Vania Braga's lab will talk about the experience they acquired over the last few years with "Challenges and potential solutions to quantification of cell-cell contacts". This large project involved a large range of microscopy techniques including high-throughput screening, handling of large datasets and making sense of the data in an automated way.
Wednesday 4 December 2013, 4.30pm, SAFB-121 (South Kensington)
>>> Free drinks and nibbles will be served!!

See you there, good imaging,

Martin
PS: This Friday (29 Nov), all FILM staff will be away testing various new microscopes (for which luckily funding has been granted), so please don't plan any experiments requiring our assistance.
