Hi everyone,

I’m running my live-cell imaging workshop again this June (poster attached). I would be very grateful if you could bring it to the attention of anyone you think might be interested:

Live-Cell Imaging, 20-22 June 2017.

Organised by Dr Paul Thomas (University of East Anglia)

This three-day workshop at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK provides theoretical and practical guidance on imaging live cells and tissues, focusing on the use of fluorescence microscopy. The course is designed for beginners and includes lectures and hands-on experience of both short- and long-term observations using widefield, confocal and multi-photon microscopy. The final day includes demonstrations of image analysis for object identification, quantification, tracking, and fluorescence lifetimes.

There are 12 places available on this workshop. Applications forms are available from the Physiological Society web-page (http://www.physoc.org/live-cell-imaging-workshop), and should be completed and returned to Dr Paul Thomas by 14 April 2017. Preference is given to Society members.

The registration fee is £25 for Physiological Society Members and £100 for non-Members. All meals are provided, but not accommodation.
