Dear Colleagues and FILM Users, We always consider the support and service to such a diverse and broad community of scientists as a great privilege and opportunity for us to grow in all aspects. We hope that FILM staff can support you to the best of our capability and that you can obtain excellent results here. This all requires mutual respect and understanding. In my previous email, I kindly asked our community to avoid damaging the stage inserts, as they cost more than £1,100 each, and we must cover these expenses from our own budget. Unfortunately, we have recently experienced another instance of damage to the stage insert dedicated to well-plate imaging. As you can see from the attached picture, there is substantial damage to this mechanical-optical element: [cid:e3d30cc5-5c1c-46ff-97f7-22f279970692] Optics and microscopy do not require forceful handling. Please avoid such actions and respect our equipment and work. Your cooperation is essential in maintaining the quality and availability of our resources for all users. Thank you for your understanding and support.
