Dear microscopists, tomorrow, Friday, 25th of February, is our next FILM Club. Judy Fonville (Jeremy Nicholson lab) is showing us how she analyses hyperspectral mass spectrometry imaging data to extract a maximum amount of information in an unbiased manner. Judy works in metabolomics, but for her projects uses data generated by an interesting combination of imaging and mass spectrometry. Apart from the specific scientific background, her technique of analysing multi-dimensional data with unknown structure can also be interesting for all of us trying to understand multi-dimensional imaging data like those from a Flim microscope or high-resolution microscopy. The FILM Club is on Friday 25 Feb 1pm, SAFB 121.
