The Oxford Imaging Symposium 2022 will be held on Thursday, 29th September 2022, at the Medical Sciences Teaching Centre, South Parks Road, Oxford, UK. The Symposium aims to present the latest applications of advanced imaging in discovery science and clinical translation and brings together international leaders and Oxford scientists. This represents a special opportunity for our DPhil students and Postdocs to network. CONFIRMED SPEAKERS: Martin Booth, University of Oxford, UK Adaptive optics in biological imaging Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz, Janelia Research Campus, USA Spatio-temporal behaviour and dynamic interactions of molecules in cells Matthias Nahrendorf, MGH, Harvard, USA Role of immunity in cardiovascular health and disease Arvind Pathak, Johns Hopkins, USA Molecular and functional imaging in cancer and neurobiology Tatiana Petrova, Ludwig Institute, Switzerland Imaging vascular-stem cell interactions in the gut Milka Sarris, University of Cambridge, UK Leukocyte navigation through a search and run response to gradients Ziv Shulman, Weizmann Institute, Israel Cellular dynamics and molecular regulation of the adaptive immune response Virgile Viasnoff, National University of Singapore Automated high-speed 3D imaging of organoids Ulrich von Andrian, Harvard Medical School, USA Lymphocyte trafficking and immune/pathogen interactions in infected hosts A detailed programme will be available in due course. The Symposium will start at 9 am and end at approximately 5.30 pm. The networking event will be from 4.30 to 5.30 pm. [FILM-Users 01037] CF6 confocal at SAF: Argon laser not working

Dear CF6-users, The Argon laser for the 488 nm excitation is not working on our CF6 confocal at SAF. The problem is under investigation with Leica, but it might well be that we need a new laser which might take a few days until it arrives. The 405, 56, 594 and 633 laser lines are working fine. Sorry for the disruption during such a busy time of the year. We will update you once we know more.
