Subject: Definiens workshop 27th November
Hi Steve,
We are organising a day workshop on Definiens at KCL on the 27th November from 11.30 am to 4 pm in the DIIID seminar room, 2nd floor Borough Wing, Guy's Campus (lunch included). I know there is a growing community of Definiens users at Imperial so it may be interesting to a number of people. Could I ask you to send the attached flyer around the FILM mailing list please? I hope you can make it as well!

Dear all,
The OMERO server won't be accessible on Thursday October 9th all day so that BSS can install a new update.
Best wishes,
Debbi

Dear All
We have currently arranged 2 demos, unfortunately neither will be on site at this stage
The first is the Operetta demonstration at Seer Green on 15th October at Perkin Elmer
The second is at Molecular Devices in Winnersh, looking at the ImageXpress Micro on the 21st October
GE (IN Cell 6000), and Olympus(ScanR) and Thermo(cellomics) have also been contacted and we are meeting with them to discuss possible instruments and options
If anyone has a sample they would like us to test on these systems please contact us
For the Operetta demo, Perkin Elmer have said they can accommodate as many users who would want to see the system and are prepared to travel to Seer Green. So if you want to see the system at this stage then again please contact us
For the Molecular device system there is limited space and only Myself and Debbi will attend in the first instance (particularly as this instrument may not be suitable for all applications)
We will try and get further in-house Demos of these and instruments that we think meet the criteria - at this stage we are still seeing what's out there.
Many thanks
Steve
