BlacKkKlansman: More Than an Homage to 70's Blaxploitation

This week, we are proud to present Spike Lee's 'BlacKkKlansman', in which an African-American police officer manages to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan, evoking a provocative exploration into White America's dark past. Despite dealing with a racially sensitive issue, the film seamlessly transitions between moments of brutality and hilarity without breaking stride.

And, just to emphasise how far we've come, the film's leading Hollywood star is Denzel Washington's son(!) Despite the modern touches to make this an almost comedic biography, there is an ever-present nostalgic ambience that reminds us of the historical value of our sociocultural views. Don't miss out on this must-see film!
