Plot outlines

Wallace and Gromit

In this adventure, Wallace (Peter Sallis) and his pet dog's, Gromit, pest control business is booming as rabbits are running wild only a few days before the annual giant vegetable competition. But when one of Wallace's inventions goes horribly wrong, the town is now faced with an oversized vegetable eating Were-Rabbit.

 

Serenity

The film is set in the 26th century and follows Captain Malcolm Reynolds (Nathan Fillion), his 6 crew members and their adventures aboard their ship, Serenity. When Malcolm takes on two new passengers, a young doctor (Sean Maher) and his unstable sister (Summer Glau), he gets more than he had bargained for.

 

Corpse Bride

Director Tim Burton returns to film animation with this film, which is set in a small 19th century European town, where Victor (Johnny Depp) has been taken to the underworld to marry a corpse bride (Helena Bonham-Carter), while his real bride, Victoria (Emily Watson), is in the land of the living. Though the land of the dead seems more interesting, Victor learns that nothing can keep him away from his one true love.

 

Night Watch

A fantasy-thriller set in present-day Moscow where the respective forces that control daytime and nighttime do battle.

 

Domino

The film is inspired by the real-life story of Domino Harvey. Domino (Keira Knightley) came from a rich family and after her father's died, she moved with her mother to Beverly Hills. Domino has always been rebellious, which resulted in her mother sending her to boarding school. Her rebellious nature then has her in a job seminar for the recruitment of bounty hunters, where she finally teams up with veteran hunter Ed (Mickey Rourke) and Choco (Edgar Ramirez).

 

Lord of War

As his family's restaurant business wasnt successful, Yuri Orlov (Nicholas Cage) decided to get into arms dealing. After finding out he could be good at it, he recruits his younger brother (Jared Leto), and starts attaining wealth and having a life of luxury with his new girlfriend Ava (Bridget Moynahan). But Yuri has to always struggle to stay one step ahead of an Interpol agent (Ethan Hawke), his business rivals, and even his own customers.
