And with his childlike enthusiasm and oozing charisma, Zachary Levi was pretty much born to play the lead role. Because, unlike most DC superhero movies, this one strays away from the doom and gloom and really shines in the comedic aspect. The best analogy for such a film is perhaps Tom Hanks' Big meets Superman (1978)!
