Final Week of Showings This Term! ============= Well, this is it for our regular screenings this term - we've finally reached the end of our lineup and the staff can start prepping for the allnighter... We've got some great ideas in our heads for that already, but I'll have more on that for you in the coming weeks. Stay tuned! This week, we've got the second film in the Maze Runner franchise, following Thomas after his escape from the titular maze in a sort-of from-the-frying-pan-into-the-fire situation. Also showing this week is another National Theatre Live (Encore) performance of Of Mice and Men in the recording of the hit Broadway production starring James Franco and Chris O’Dowd. Cops & Rappers ============= This Monday, we've got my personal choice of RoboCop (the original one, not the remake or any of the questionable sequels) showing for £3 for everyone, and on Tuesday and Thursday we've got Straight Outta Compton. From dystopian future Detroit, Michigan to 1980s-era Compton, California, we've got a pair of US-centred films this week as our standard term of showings draws to a close, but don't fret, because we have Of Mice and Men and Maze Runner yet to come.
