Hi, The moment you have all been waiting for has arrived, yes it is the famous iCU Cinema All Nighter! We have a great lineup of films for you to come and see. The All Nighter is on Tuesday the 16th of December and the line up is a follows: Finding Nemo: 18:00 A tale which follows the comedic and eventful journeys of two fish, the fretful Marlin and his young son Nemo, who are separated from each another in the Great Barrier Reef when Nemo is unexpectedly taken from his home, and thrust into a fish tank in a dentist's office overlooking Sydney Harbor. Buoyed by the companionship of a friendly but forgetful fish named Dory, the overly cautious Marlin embarks on in a dangerous trek and finds himself the unlikely hero of an epic journey to rescue his son. Meanwhile the young Nemo hatches a few daring plans of his own to return home safely. Kill Bill: Volume 1: 20:10 The Bride (Uma Thurman) was once a top member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. And then, one day, she decided to leave the business, assume a new identity, and get married. But it was on the day of her marriage that her old "friends," O-Ren Ishii (Lucy Liu), Elle Driver (Darryl Hannah), Budd (Michael Madsen), and Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox), not to mention her boss, Bill (David Carradine), showed up out of the blue. They assassinate the entire ceremony and Bill shoots the Bride in the head, putting her in a coma. Well, Bill and his people should have tried a little harder, because after four years, the Bride has awakened from her coma. And Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned... Intolerable Cruelty: 22:10 Miles Massey, a prominent Los Angeles divorce attorney has everything--and in some cases, two of everything. Despite his impressive client list, a formidable win record, the respect of his peers and an ironclad contract (the Massey pre-nup) named after him, he's reached a crossroads in his life. Sated on success, boredom has set in and he's looking for new challenges. All that changes when Miles meets his match in the devastating Marylin Rexroth. Marylin is the soon-to-be ex-wife of his client Rex Rexroth, a wealthy real estate developer and habitual philanderer. With the help of hard charging private investigator Gus Petch, she has Rex nailed and is looking forward to the financial independence a successful divorce will bring. But thanks to Miles' considerable skills, she ends up with nothing. Not to be outdone, Marylin schemes to get even and as part of her plan, quickly marries oil tycoon Howard Doyle. Miles and his unflappable associate, Wrigley, unwittingly dig themselves in deeper and deeper as they go head-to-head with Marylin. Underhanded tactics, deceptions and an undeniable attraction escalate as Marylin and Miles square off in this classic battle of the sexes. Matchstick Men: 0:20 Meet Roy and Frank, a couple of professional small-time con artists. What Roy, a veteran of the grift, and Frank, his ambitious protégé, are swindling these days are "water filtration systems," bargain-basement water filters bought by unsuspecting people who pay ten times their value in order to win bogus prizes like cars, jewelry and overseas vacations--which they never collect. These scams net the flim-flam men a few hundred here, another thousand there, which eventually adds up to a lucrative partnership. Roy's private life, however, is not so successful. An obsessive-compulsive agoraphobe with no personal relationships to call his own, Roy is barely hanging on to his wits, and when his idiosyncrasies begin to threaten his criminal productivity he's forced to seek the help of a psychoanalyst just to keep him in working order. While Roy is looking for a quick fix, his therapy begets more than he bargained for: the revelation that he has a teenage daughter--a child whose existence he suspected but never dared confirm. What's more troubling, 14-year-old Angela wants to meet the father she never knew. At first, Angela's appearance disrupts her neurotic father's carefully ordered routine. Soon, however, with his own unique spin on parenthood, Roy begins to enjoy a relationship he never dreamed of having with his daughter. But while he develops paternal feelings for the 14-year-old, she's developing a fascination with Daddy's questionable career. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: 2:30 Renowned adventurer Allan Quatermain (Connery) leads a team of extraordinary figures with legendary powers to battle the technological terror of a madman known as "The Fantom." This "League" comprises seafarer/inventor Captain Nemo (Shah), vampiress Mina Harker (Wilson), an invisible man named Rodney Skinner (Curran), American secret service agent Tom Sawyer (West), the ageless and invincible Dorian Gray (Townsend), and the dangerous split personality of Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde (Flemyng) Underworld: 4:50 A war going on for centuries between vampires and Lycans/werewolves, never seen by humans eyes, until one of the werewolves by the name of Lucian (Michael Sheen) finds out about one human that can bond with vampire blood and Lycans blood, Michael (Scott Speedman). Selene (Kate Beckinsale) is the vampire Death dealer that finds out why the Lycans are following Micheal and falls in love with him. Kraven (Shane Brolly) is the leader of the vampire house after Viktor (Bill Nighy) dies and wants Selene by his side, but she is a wild cat to break. Hi guys, We have yet another week of great films to tempt you next week: *Once Upon a Time in Mexico* Tuesday 9/12/03 18:00 Thursday 11/12/03 20:15 Based on the story of a drug lord Barrilo. He pretends to overthrow the president of Mexico. A corrupt CIA agent, demands retribution from his worst enemy to carry out the drug lord's uprising. Mariachi is recruited by Sands to take out Gen. Marquez (has a huge score to settle with the Mariachi), who has major beef with Mariachi to begin with. He sends Cucuy (the muscle for Sands) to shadow and keep tabs on the Mariachi. Marquez is working with Barrillo, and is about to assassinate El Presidente and assume power. Sands also convinces Jorge Ramirez (retired-FBI, has old scores to settle with Barrillo) to come out of retirement and take out Barrillo and Dr. Guevera (personal Dr. to Barrillo, killed Jorge's partner a long time ago), who brutally tortured and killed Ramirez' FBI partner. *In America* Tuesday 7/12/03 20:15 Thursday 11/12/03 18:00 Intimately told by their 11-year-old daughter Christy (Sarah Bolger), a child wise beyond her years, is a coming of age story about an Irish couple (Samantha Morton, Paddy Considine) trying to find their way in America. To Christy and her younger sister Ariel (played by real life sister Emma Bolger), America is a place of magic where anything is possible. To their parents, it represents a place to begin anew. Carried by the girls' youthful hope and faith, the family finds the heart to live and love again. Together they find home. In America is directed by Jim Sheridan who co-wrote the original screenplay with his filmmaker daughters Naomi and Kirsten Sheridan. As ever these films are at the bargain price of £3 for one or £5 for both! Of course we also have the famous All Nighter the week after this which has a truly excellent lineup, which we believe is the best yet! I have had lots of emails requesting more info on the All Nighter. Tickets cost £3 for one film, £5 for two, £7 for three or £10 for four to six films. Tickets are not available in advance but are available on the door about 15 mins before each film.
