Molecule of the Month, January 2003
Hi, January's MOTM is arsenic pentachloride (AsCl5) and related AsX5 molecules, all of which exhibit unusual bonding. All 4 versions are available, at: HTML: http://www.chm.bris.ac.uk/motm/ascl5/ascl5h.htm Chime: http://www.chm.bris.ac.uk/motm/ascl5/ascl5c.htm Java: http://www.chm.bris.ac.uk/motm/ascl5/ascl5j.htm VRML: http://www.chm.bris.ac.uk/motm/ascl5/ascl5v.htm The pages have been written by Simon Cotton of Uppingham School. (Note that because I am out of the country until, next week, the link to these new pages will not appear on the MOTM home page until then, as I can't logon to the web server from outsdie of the country due to security restrictions...)
