We are all familiar with eg ChemDex types of services, which deal specifically with chemical Internet resources. http://bubl.ac.uk/link/sci.html is a general one, which however has some excellent chemical pointers, and appears very up to date and relevant. Well worth taking a look at. Dr Henry Rzepa, Dept. Chemistry, Imperial College, LONDON SW7 2AY; mailto:rzepa@ic.ac.uk; Tel (44) 171 594 5774; Fax: (44) 171 594 5804. Alternatively, you can skip straight to their Chemistry section, which is pretty good. http://link.bubl.ac.uk/chemistry/ On the down side, similar to other large collections of links, BUBL seem to have difficulty keeping their links current, however unlike sites such as Yahoo! as soon as you report a dead link to BUBL, they fix it and reply to you to thank you for reporting it, which is very encouraging. My only problem with their chemistry section is that the links look like they were classified by non-chemists. Check out the "organic chemistry" section, it contains 16 links, only 4 of which are directly related to organic chemistry. http://bubl.ac.uk/link/o/organicchemistry.htm But on the whole, a very nice resource. -- *------------------------------------------------------------* | Michael H. Difficult to know as yet whether these are ever likely to be useful, but if you don't know there are all sorts of chemistry "clubs" at Yahoo - see: http://www.clubs.yahoo.com/Science/Chemistry/ Join - or form your own.
