In an attempt to be even more light hearted than usual, and to look for something that is easier to illustrate than usual, I'd like to devote my next "internet" column in Scientific Computing World to the subject of screen savers and "wallpapers" that people can retrieve. Naturally enough, I am looking for stuff of a scientific nature. While the idea is to provide light relief, there is a serious side to this, as I'm sure that screen savers can have some value. The fact that they are more a personal statement than a need to protect tour screen is another matter. I promise to give a plug to anyone whose site gets a mention. Thanks for your help.
