Re: presentation of course notes using http
Dear All,
My comment about 'value added content' did not refer to the material adding value to the WWW but to it gaining in value by the addition of embedded molecules, audio, movie, links to electronically published journal articles etc.
I too believe this to be a mojor feature of the WEB. I have used this approach in a few of my courses and have gone a little further in that the assignments for the course are presented in this fashions. See http://http1.brunel.ac.uk:8080/depts/chem/ch241s/assign.htm for example. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ Dr. Jeff Gosper Dept. of Chemistry BRUNEL University Uxbridge Middx UB8 3PH, UK voice: 01895 274000 x2187 facsim: 01895 256844 internet/email/work: Jeffrey.Gosper@brunel.ac.uk internet/WWW: http://http2.brunel.ac.uk:8080/~castjjg \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ ----- chemweb: A list for Chemical Applications of the Internet.
