I wonder if anyone out there can advise me about transferring address books from Netscape Messenger to Outlook Express? I have used Netscape for years (so I have a large address book) but I decided to go with the tide and use Outlook when I bought a new machine recently. Outlook Express 5 supplied by my office equipment vendor claims that it can import Netscape Address Books but it will not import the file pab.na2 that Netsacpe Communicator 4.7 made on my other machine. It says "error importing address book". I think that it might want a file of extension .nab not na2. Has anyone ever tried to do this? Wendy PS I much prefer Netscape Messenger! Dr. Wendy A. Wendy, You could succeed, exporting your Netscape Messenger address book as ldif-file, next importing this file in Outlook Express. Only you will have to correct some special characters, e.g. <é>. By the way, the *.ldif file format takes up much less kB than the *.wab format.
