Subject: Re: Screen vs Paper for E-journals One simple tool that already helps (a little) is to install the (Netscape) browser so as to take up as little space as possible on the screen. I notice many people have too many buttons+text displayed that take away space for more useful reading data.
While efficient use of screen real estate is always good advise, it is useful for anyone putting up a page to remember that different people might use different devices. I run netscape on my SGI Indigo2 Extreme and generally I find I have a much bigger page size than anyone using a PC (or Mac). I sometimes pull in a page that has internal links from a 'menu' to places lower down on the same page, yet the whole page is up in my browser. -- M.
