Trial of Electronic Chemical Communications: The CLIC Project
The CLIC Project. ============ This is a project whose brief is to produce a "molecular multemedia" version of Chemical Communications. The project has been running for about a year now, and one of its first products will be full versions of the keynote articles, which were introduced to the journal in 1996. We invite people to inspect the first such article by Peter T. Glink, Cesare Schiavo, J. Fraser Stoddart and David J Williams on "The genesis of a new range of interlocked molecules" and give us feedback, particularly on the style adopted, whether the "rotable" molecules are suitably presented and add value, etc. <b> If possible, could you keep the subject header used here so that we can maintain this thread in the discussion list.</b> Currently, it can be accessesed in several ways. 1. Via the "Home" page of the CLIC project on http://chemcomm.clic.ac.uk/ This is running on a HypwerWave server, and so you will find some extra functionality that we welcome feedback on. 2. Via a version at the University of Cambridge; http://www-clic.ch.cam.ac.uk/CLIC/html/c08349_1.htm 3. On the RSC Server at; http://chemistry.rsc.org/rsc/c08349_1.htm Those of you who are not in the UK, we would welcome feedback on response times etc. Many thanks Dr Henry Rzepa, Dept.
