Hi Henry, Chemwebbers, We at Venus have got the Internet Explorer Administrator's Kit from Microsoft and are working to produce our own Venus-customised browsers shortly. Anyone can do it provided they sign up to Microsoft's license agreement for redistribution of MSIE. Check it out at http://www.microsoft.com/ie/ieak/ Best Rgds., Alan at Venus .sig below On Thu, 30 Jan 1997, Rzepa, Henry wrote:
Fro two separate sources, I gather that both MS IE and Netscape browser development kits are available which allow an institute or organisation to produce customised versions for distribution in the own organisation or perhaps as part of specific projects.
I am wondering why my own organisation appears not to have done this, and would like to persuade them to at least consider it. I would very much like to hear from anyone whose organisation has gone down this route, and what advantages, if any, this might bring.
