Hi, The March Molecule of the Month is t-AlF3, and has been contributed by Armel Le Bain of the University of Lemans, in France. t-AlF3 is interesting because it has a novel structure: it is the first example discovered of a crystal structure with an AB3 framework of AB6 octahedra connected exclusively by corners.
